1 down, 2 to go

October 27th, 2006 at 09:23 pm

Got one of my meds in the mail today. Turns out the company tat shipped it to me only had part of my address on it so the Fed Ex deilivery guy couldn't find my apartment. Here' the thing though; the meds I got...it's the one I still have some from the last refill left on. The other two I've been completely out of for over 2 weeks now.

And here's the real kicker...one is out of stock and on backroder until NOVEMBER 16th!!!!! And the other was brought to my house today but Fed Ex deiced not to leave it (when the left the first package) and marked it for a return to the shipper. After 25 minutes on the phone, I finally found out where the package was (a town about 20 mins from me) and convinced the manager there to hold the package until tomorrow at 5 so I could pick it up.

Hate to be rude to someone who doesn't deserve it, but I think it was explaining that the package contained anti-depressants and mood-stabilizers in my very colorful langauge that did it.

Damn mail service.

Sometimes you just have to get a bit tough around the mouth area! Glad you stood up for yourself and may be getting some results! Here's hoping they hurry and bring what you need.

Can you get the other locally since it's on backorder?

That's one of the reasons I'm afraid to have my meds delivered by mail. That and with my insurance company it costs more.

Lux...yup, that's what I am planning on doing..gettingt eh one on backroder from the local pharmacy here.

Ldy...the whole reason I decided to switch to this mail order system is b/c it's cheaper for me. With this program, I get three months at a time of the meds, but I only pay for 2 months...kinda like a buy two get one free. And since I take 4 meds, I need all the help with $ for them I can get. But if this stress keeps up, I'll have to take a higher dosage!!!

Wow, I would call before I leave to pick it up...I use to work for UPS who was notorious for placing items on hold and then either returning it to the shipper or sending it back out with the driver. Also call your local pharmacy maybe you can transfer a few day supply until the others arrive
