4 Penny Update

So I went back yesterday to get the pennies...LOL They were still there, but someone was sitting in front of them...damn it!

SO, I went back this morning...as I rounded the corner, I saw windows, sunlight, and...empty chairs!!

But alas, the pennies were gone. Too bad for me, but kudos to whoever grabbed them.

On a related note, that is now at least 5 cents (plus who knows how much from the lady who dropped change in front of me in a crowd and walked off...I, too, was stuck in the crowd, which was moving, and if I had stopped, I would have been trampled...) I have found in Boston, but have been unable to pick up because of other people in my way. But I did find a dime at the train station the other day and you can bet I grabbed it! Smile

And you know I will be kicking myself over those 4 pennies for a while to come...

At least I know I'm not the only one obsessing over pennies! Big Grin

    Next time someone's in your way, say something like "There they are...I've been looking everywhere!" and politely push by them. Let them stare as you pick up "your" four cents or whatever! Hee hee.

    I've already started dumpster diving for coke reward points, so I can see myself excusing myself to get to those pennies.

    Yea Boston's tough to stop in those commuter crowds.

    I get off at South Station which isn't too bad, but Park Street or downtwon crrossing ... forget about it. Skip the dime and be thankfully you saved $19.90. The 20 for the copay (for being trampled) - .10

    ceejay...i would say you are evil, exept I thought of that yesterday! LOL

    Merch...that's where I get off too. I take the middleboro/lakeville train everyday and then go from south station to kenmore sq. a 2 hour commute for me...each way!

    Since reading your post, I've found 2 lucky pennies on the ground! I almost NEVER find money. You may have started a "good karma penny ripple effect" without knowing it!

    On Saturday I read a quote from Michael Moore about the writer's strike. He said something like "What are they really asking for? It's like four pennies." I almost fell off the treadmill I was so surprised. Your obsession is spreading!
