Thank you all for your advice!! You guys really gave me a lot to think about, adn I really appreciate it. I know this is "just a blog" but I feel like you're all friends and I love you all!!
I decided to take the new job. Many a good point was made about following my dreams, as well as the fact that doing what love is important. One of you (I won't betry who) even commented that *Gasp - saying this on a money saving forum!* "Money isn't everything" and you are completely right. Eventually, the money will follow, and right now it's better to be happy.
THANKS TO YOU ALL!!!!

And yes, money is NOT everything. It may be MOST things... but not EVERYthing.

I've watched my hubby work a job he really doesn't care for for 16 years just so that we have a decent income and, more importantly, benefits. He's done it to support us and our children.
One of the main reasons I left my job as a library director a couple of years ago and took the job with the library system was because it offered benefits and would eventually put us in a position that he could quit his job and do something he really does enjoy doing.
