August 22nd, 2006 at 04:34 pm

Having trouble getting pics of the Lamp up. I'll try again tonight. Until then, got another $2.44 to add to the fund (THANKS MOM!). Plus $1.22 I found in my purse in change. Whoo-hoo!

Lamp Fund Total: $14.41
Lamp $ to Replace: $32.84

I backed up to the 16th to read your lamp story. A purple lamp! I kind of identify with this. NOVICA, on online store run by National Geographic to sell the goods of artisans around the world, offers some wooden folding chairs that I covet. They are painted with scenes from the Bagahvadgita (sorry I don't know how to spell correctly). For more than a year I have been logging on to see whether I still love them. And I love them every time.

But I don't need any more chairs. Frown
These chairs are works of art and could be hung flat on a wall when not used. So I've tried to justify an art acquisition, but my husband is an artist and we have not just his but other artists' stuff---more than we can hang already.

So I don't need any more art. Frown

I totally understand. What about if you rotated art? Like if you had one main piece in the living room, and you changed it every six months, or every season? That way you can still admire the chair art, and your hubby's art, and his friend's. What's the link for the chairs? I'm dying to see them! =)
